there
is good news and bad news
bad news first: i do not allow morons into my club
good news is that there is a sensible code on dress
let
me explain: all this ' strict fetish dress code', 'jacket and tie required',
'no denim allowed', etc, makes me bored, very bored. in fact, i hate it.
the presumption that a cheap pair of pvc jeans, or some cheap underwear and
sling back shoes
is going to make someone better behaved or more interesting seems stupid to
me. i want to
attract a variety of people with a variety of interests and contributions, so
an attitude code
is much more relevant. i will not admit loads of people in regular street clothes,
but will
admit newcomers to the scene if they contact
me and give me a name in advance
i do encourage people to dress up because it makes the events visually
more interesting and
people tend to be less inhibited when they also dress their fantasy, but i will
not operate
a fashion police. it's too much like the attitude that forces minorities underground
and i don't want to be part of that
swastikas - i certainly do not encourage them, but i do not censore. many costumes
and symbols
can be considered offensive by various groups and i do not claim to be an arbiter
on taste. however,
those wishing to wear swastikas may wish to consider the effect this can have,
as it is a particularly
chilling symbol to many persecuted groups. those who are offended may wish to
remember that a
fetish style club is not usually the type of place frequented by right wing
extremists.
attitude is what you should be wearing
